I think that’s what’s happening right now. We’re both tired. We’re both wanting things to go the way we want. We’re both trying to get what we want. In many little ways, they’re different. But the ultimate goal remains the same. Hence the unspoken compromises we make along the way.
We’re making headway. One day at [...]

In many respects, I think that J and I do not have a “normal” relationship. We have so many differences and we approach life in such different ways that I think we sometimes defy what a “normal” marriage should be. Then again, what is normal and what is not? This could all [...]

I am the kind of person who likes to know where my husband is most of the time. While it may seem that it is because I do not trust him, it reallly is because I am a worrywart. I worry that he has gotten in trouble. I worry that he got [...]

I rarely follow the news in the Philippines because of several reasons:
I do no get up early enough to watch the morning news.
I don’t buy newspapers. Come to think of it, I do not see any newspaper stands on my way to work.
I find myself getting bored or becoming sad because of what I read.

Is it just me or do your hubbies also need some prodding every now and then?
Case in point. J has to go to the Immigration office to pay his annual fee and renew his i-card. He should have done this weeks ago. He meant to. He always means to but somehow never gets around [...]

This word is way overused, in my mind. Gurus and pundits talk about parents spending quality time with their children, about couples spending quality time with each other. But what is it really? Is there one definition of quality time?
